"Protea" opens at the Luana Hotel!
I recently completed a commission for the new Protea resturant in the Outrigger Luana Hotel in Waikiki. The painting serves as the namesake and logo for the establishment. "Protea" joines another one of my originals "Under the Sun" which hangs in the lobby.

Published!......."Journey to Peace"
My first book has just been published and is available for purchase.

The book "Journey to Peace" is a collection of poetry that I have written over the years. Each poem is illustrated with a full colour reproduction of one of my paintings.
L'Association Franco-Japonaise de l'Espace Culturel Bertin Poirée (Paris) a permis à de nombreux artistes d'exposer leurs oeuvres. Le vernissage qui a eu lieu le vendredi 21 octobre 2009 fut l'occasion d'une rencontre métissée et enrichissante, d'autant plus que pour certain artiste japonais ce fut l'opportunité d'une première exposition à l'étranger.

"Lime Italian Glass" wins First place at AHA Exhibition
Jurror David Behlke has awarded " Lime Italian Glass" by Noriko Wakayama first place in the Association of Honolulu Artists Exhibition. The exhibition will run until March 20th, 2009 at the Lobby Gallery of 1132 Bishop Street, on Fort Street Mall, downtown. The Association of Hawaiian Artists is the states oldest art organization, established in 1926.
